Find out more about Sedation

Going to the dentist can be a daunting prospect for some people, especially when they also require treatment. Here at 76 Dental, we understand this normal anxiety and are dedicated to help nervous patients complete their treatment by offering sedation.

How does Sedation dentistry work?

Sedation is normally given through the hand or arm in safe doses. Patients are relaxed and drowsy throughout their treatment but unaware of what is happening. Pulse, blood pressure and oxygen levels are closely monitored during the procedure. It can take some time for the effects of sedation to wear off. Our experienced team are here to advise you when you should feel back to normal.

If you don’t want to miss out on our fantastic dental care and think sedation could help you overcome your fear of the dentist or would just like to talk more about it then please book a consultation with our sedation dentist, Dr Jo Huddleston.
